Do any of our U.S. friends know where to obtain promo-only CD releases?
As a keen collector of all things David Bowie, I'm trying to get
a hold of two items in this category :-
1) "Never Let Me Down" promo CD single featuring (I think) five
different mixes of just this one track!
2) "Bang Bang" promo CD single + (I think) three other tracks.
Any pointers as to where I may locate these discs, together with
an indication as to how much I can expect to pay, would be very
much appreciated.

Dougie I don't know if this will help you but here it goes anyway.
An individual in the cdswap notesfile has the David Bowie "Never
Let Me Down" cd for $11. It is note #264. To contact send mail to
SHARE::COYNER.

Re. -1. Chip, I appreciate your offer of assistance, but having
checked out Note 264 in the CDSWAP file, I reckon the disc up for
grabs is the normal commercial release. What I'm after is the
promo-only CD single (or in this case, more like an CD EP) feat.
different mixes of the title track.
