Ever been to Rock 'n Mania on rt 9 in Framingham? I'm pretty
sure I saw it there... they also had Astral Weeks, Moondance, and
a few more! The Hudson MA Library also has Astral Weeks!! I
borrowed it recently, sounds great on disk...

| I have Moondance, and considering it was recorded in the 60's, the
sound is great.

Yes - it's available on CD (at least in Europe).

It is available on CD in the U.S.
Has anyone seen the Album T.B. Sheets on CD? The Nashua, NH public
library has it, but I am unable to buy it anywhere.

| Personally, I'm waiting for "Beautiful Vision" -- but will gratefully
scoop up old favorites Astral/Moodance/Choir/Tupelo/Dominic in the
interim...
Has anyone heard the Van Morrison + Chieftans release? Significantly
different than other Van you've heard? (Apologies if it's been
addressed elsewhere.) - John C.

| Does anyone know if Van Morrison has a 'greatest hits'-type CD out?
I would be interested in a collection that contains "Brown Eyed Girl",
"Domino", "Wild Night", "Jackie Wilson Says", "Moondance", "Tupelo
Honey", "Wavelength", and maybe even "Here Comes the Night" and "Gloria"
from Them.
Thanks for any info!

1139.9 | Check out LIVE 2 CD set | CSC32::C_OUIMETTE | Wampeters and Foma | Mon Sep 19 1988 13:00 | 11 |
| His Live 2 CD set sounds like it comes closest to what you're looking
for- Domino, Wild night, Here comes the night, and Gloria are on it,
as well as Caravan, St. Dominic, Cypress Ave., Listen to the Lion,
and many others. I don't remember the -exact- title, but am happy
to vouch for the music. FANTASTIC!
To the best of my knowledge, Brown Eyed Girl is -only- available
on T.B. sheets; Anyone know different?

| Incidentally, the version of _Brown Eyed Girl_ on TB Sheets
is the "AM" version. Rock'n'mainia has the rights to the "FM"
single version. [But how do I get a 7inch into my CD player?]
[I really can't believe that they had to edit the song for AM.
People musta been unbelievably up tight to object to "Makin' love."]

Of course if you have the promo copy of BEG, then you have both
the AM & FM versions (the AM being in mono & shortened, the FM being
a tad longer & in stereo).
