I gotta know.
How does Robert Fripp sound on CD. I'm listening to League
of Gentleman on tape from my album, and the recording is noisy at
best.
I want to hear his music, and only his music. How much hiss
is there?
Robert Fripp albums that come to mind:
Exposure
League of Crafty Guitarists
Let The Power Fall
God Save the Queen
God Save the King
Paul Komar.
Cluster Systems Engineering.
whose brain is getting frotzed by Portable Common Loops, Valentine's
Day Release, which tries, but fails to meet the Common Lisp Object
Specification.....

I can't speak to the others, but "League of Crafty Guitarists" sounds
very nice indeed. Particulary give the miking needed for the ensemble.
Eirikur
"No Pussyfooting" on EG is a very nice CD, also.

Hey Paul, FRIPP is GOD (or is ENO GOD?) (sorry, CMU joke!)
League of Crafty Guitarists is AWESOME, and they'll be at the
Paradise in June (I think). Check em out, they're WAAAAAAYYYYY cool!

I have "Exposure" and the sound quality is quite excellent.
Fripp's outings with King Crimson are also reproduced well on CD.
"In the Court of the Crimson King" and "In the Wake of Poseidon"
were MADE for CD!!
