| I love the track, Tall Cool One. Sounds like a cross between
the Cars, Led Zeplin and Dave Edmunds. Nice production. And
I was never a fan of Plant or Zeplin. But, I would buy it for
for that track alone.

| Actually, I've listened to this CD about 6 times since I wrote that
last note, I was wrong in classing it as a 9/10. It be a 10/10!

Ah, Andy, you *did* rate it a 10/10. It was Clannad's SIRIUS
you rated as a 9/10.
All that rock'n'roll must be turning your mind to mush. :-)

1109.5 | It's true! | HAZEL::CLARK | | Mon Mar 07 1988 13:15 | 8 |
| It is an awesome album - from a guy who used to make awsome albums
some fifteen years ago. Watch for the tour, he's supposed to be
in the area in May. Also, read the interview in Musician magazine.
It's hilarious and open (like calling David Coverdale "David
Coverversion" and saying he'd rather mow Mitch Easter's lawn than
sing like Journey).

| Re .5
Since this is an international conference, "he's supposed to be
in the area in May" doesn't tell us much. Are you referring to
one of the 9 areas in the US or the General International Area?
Or maybe the Europian Area? Or is it a given that "in the area"
means the Boston area? Please remember that a large portion of
us noters aren't in New England.

| re .5 if "this area" means Maynard area, I hope it also means
Greatwood! I got this disc last weekend, simply perfect!!!! I
reccomend it. If anyone gets the schedule for a tour, please post
it.

Sorry, I'm still sort of new at this. Yes, by in the area I mean
the Boston area. Not Great Woods though - it will be either the
Garden or the Worcester Septum (or both).

Sorry ;
I went out and bought this CD with the recommendation from this
note. I was kinda disappointed but after listening to it several times
it does grab me a little more than the first time I heard it..
Definately not LED ZEPPELIN material..I heard a interview with
Robert Plant and he comments that this is his best work in Years..
The Sound Quality is definately A1....
