I have seen Head East "Flat As A Pancake" in Colorado Springs. It
was on sale recently for $7.99 at Sound Warehouse.

Alan Parsons' "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" is due to be released
Real Soon Now (from another note in here somewhere).

As far as I know, neither the Little Feat nor the Sky has been
    released as yet.

I got "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" in a record store in Albany
the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The album has been reworked slightly,
according to the liner notes (which are rather extensive) but in
my opinion they made the album even better. The Orson Wells narrations
originally recorded for "A Dream Within a Dream" and "The Fall of
the House of Usher" are on the CD.

Coincidentally, the woman I was with asked about "Waiting For Columbus"
and the clerk said it was tied up in legal hassles. I have no idea
if he knew what he was talking about.

"Cadmium" is the only Sky album I've found. Am also waiting for
the double album. (I want to hear the tuba solo on CD :-)

    inferior, Sky.

Very inferior.....the least most played CD in my collection. Yuk!

In Mnchen you can also get another CD not listed here, unfortunately
    I can't remember it's name.

re: .1

Yep, picked up the Head East last night at the local Sound
Warehouse for 7.99. A&M seems to be re-releasing many albums
in CD form from seeing the selection that was available.

Most all of the older Alan Parsons stuff was there also for
7.99. (ie Eve, Vulture Culture, Eye in the Sky, Pyramid, ...)
I got the new Tales_of_Mystery_and_Imagination for 12.99 and
really enjoyed the Orson Wells intro (and the DAD re mastering).

Gee, for $8 a CD, this is worse than the local flu epidemic!

1005.9Anyone seen these?AQUA::MPALMERWed Dec 30 1987 06:5511
O.K. Here's two that I've been looking for for about a year and
    a half:

    	James Taylor: Greatest Hits
    	Joe Jackson: Mike's Murder

Some friends of mine insist they've seen James Taylor, but it
isn't listed in any of the cd magazines as being available.

Anyone seen either of these? Maybe as imports?

I've seen the JT greatest here in sunny Northern Cal. It'd probably
clock out at 28 minutes or so. Buy the record. As for "Mike's Murder,"
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it to make it to disc. The
lp sold so badly, it went into the cutout bins about 3 months after
its' release. Now the lp is really scarce. You could write A&M,
but only diehard JJ fans would really want it, so the market may
not be large enough for a CD issue.

How about Rush - Archives?? I've been to a number of stores around
the Boston area, but have not found it....Has it been released on
    CD??

As far as I know, Archives is not out on CD yet. However, all three
single CDs that comprise Archives are available. The three CDs
that comprise the Archives set are; Rush, Caress of Steel, and Fly
    By Night.

    Hope that helps.
