    	Can anyone tell me where I can get a  CD called  "Castaway"
    by  Bruce Springsteen . 
    
    	Does anyone posses it ? , is anyone selling it ? , what does
    it cost ? , whats the quality like ? , has any other CD noter ever heard
    of it ?.

Never heard of it.  Are you sure it is by Springsteen?

    		My source for beleiving such a thing exists is from
    
    a Bruce Fanzine called "Backstreets" Issue #22 , Fall 1987 
    
    Page 31 . The article says that it may possibly be of British origin.
    
    		To make the nature of the CD a little clearer, the article
    
    in which it is mentioned is entitled "Latest Boot(leg) Reviews" (Nudge
    
    Nudge , Wink Wink , Say No More).  Up to now I thought this sort
    
    of recording was the exclusive domain of phonagraphic records. Hence
    
    my fascination with this particular item.
                                                              
    		To repeat , can any Boffins out there help me with this
    
    little gem.

I also subscribe to Backstreets, but I haven't read the lastest bootleg
review article yet. :-(  If you do find it I too would be interested
in the details.

As an aside, Rockit Records in Nashua, NH, has the UK CD Single of
Born To Run Live.  The CD contains the same songs (4?) as the UK 12"
single.  They want $25 for it.
