Well, I am anxiously awaiting to find "Welcome To The Cruise" over here
in the US (California). I had good luck finding her albums when I lived
in Seattle, but have had little luck in the San Francisco Bay area.
"Welcome To The Cruise" is probably the best of her albums to date, (in
my opinion) with "I Am The Phoenix" a close 2nd.
Have any other Judy Tzuke albums been released on CD over in the UK
(besides "The Cat Is Out", which I have) ???
Has she released any new albums since "The Cat Is Out" ??

| Hi There,
I think I've seen the best of Judie Tzuke out on CD, I think Ritmo
might also be out on CD also. As far as I'm aware Judie hasn't released
any new albums since "The Cat is out".
Regards,
Graham.

| Saw "Sports Car" at the weekend (again in the UK), and also she
has a let's-cash-in-on-the-past CD called "Portfolio", which is
a collection of songs from her earlier albums. I didn't buy either,
but may get "Sports Car", in which case I'll let you know what it's
like. Any Tzuke in the US yet? Was she ever known over there?

I haven't seen any of her CDs/albums here (San Francisco Bay Area), but I
was finally able to obtain "Welcome To The Cruise" on CD through an import
mail order firm based in Oregon (they have an arrangement with a mail order
firm in West Germany, Compact Versand). I also just ordered "Portfolio" on
CD through this same mail order firm. I expect that I will see "Sports Car"
in their next catalog, and will probably order it also (I am a true Judie
Tzuke fan !!).
> Was she ever known over here in the US ?
She appeared to have a following when I lived in Seattle between 1980-86.
I heard her on the radio a few times up there (which is how I learned about
her), but rarely was I able to find new copies of her albums. I found most
of her albums in used record stores in the University of Washington area.
I think I did find "I Am The Phoenix", "The Best Of Judie Tzuke", "Road Noise",
and "The Cat Is Out" at Tower Records in Seattle.
Also, she has been appearing on some Sony music videos over here, usually
interspersed with other recording artists that don't fit in with Judie's
style (I haven't bough any of these videos, but a friend (who is also a
Judie Tzuke fan) has bought all the videos that she has appeared on).
Besides these videos, I haven't seen any of her albums or CDs in the San
Francisco Bay Area.

How popular is Judie Tzuke in England ?? The fact that she appears on videos
over here seems to imply that she must be fairly popular. It would be great
to see her in concert over here someday.

| .5How popular is Judie Tzuke in England ??
Well, she *was* reasonably popular around the "Cruise" and "Sports
Car" time, but I have heard nothing of her for a long time. I very
much enjoyed her music and concerts (I saw her three times) in the
late 70s and early 80s, but I am not aware of her having performed
live in the last five years.
The videos sound interesting...
