I am in the market for a new CD player. I believe that I have it narrowed down to the Sony CDP 910, or the Denon DCD 800. Does anyone own or know someone who owns one of these players? Any comments would be helpful. I have also heard that Sony has a new player CDP 750. Anyone hear anything on this one? Dave

Well, I don't own a Sony or a Denon. But, I've seen (and heard) enough of 'em in action to know that both a great machines. Not to throw a wrench in your works, but have you auditioned the Magnavox CDP650? This machine is probably the best investment for your money in the realm of CD players. It is loaded with practical, convenient features and includes a full-functioned remote control. And (most importantly) you will not find better sound from a CD player anywhere (you can quote me on that it you like). Whatever your choice -- Dennon, Sony, or Maggy -- you won't be sorry. All are excellent investments. Rob |
