956.1Can I wear a tie too?TOOK::MICHAUDJeff MichaudThu Nov 05 1987 17:583
    8am to 5pm? What has that got to do with work? I for one don't
    work for IBM :-). Does anybody work 8-5? Do you mind if I repost
    your base note in the HACKERS notesfile?
956.2Joke was intended (.-1)NAC::J_MICHAUDThu Nov 05 1987 19:462
    I hope you don't take .-1 seriously. The only thing I take seriously
    is work :-).
956.3Flaky Behaviour (NOTES)TOOK::MICHAUDJeff MichaudThu Nov 05 1987 23:186
    Since you have entered the base note, I have been having on and
    off problems accessing this file (after hours). I can try it one
    second and get some kind of Privelege or Protection violation, and
    try it 30 seconds later and it works fine?

    Has anyone else been seeing the same thing?
956.4I've seen it too!FROST::EDSONDFri Nov 06 1987 07:144
    re .3

    Last night about 6:00 pm I was experiencing the same protection
    violation.
956.5I know....JAWS::PELKEYLike wow ! PsychedelicSat Nov 07 1987 15:137
    There was some trouble with my batch job. I'm working on it.

    Sorry to have change access but Notes was doing some serious
    headbanging with allin1 (Wich we just went to last week...)
    This change really beefed up our interactive login rate. All
    the mail (DECMAIL) used to be delivered to another system.
    Now it's local on this cluster.
956.6Time for a new home for the CD conference?CASEE::CLARKWard ClarkSun Nov 08 1987 10:264
    If this conference is such a burden for your system/cluster, why not
    just offer it for adoption by someone who will leave it open all day?

I agree. Any potential homes out there?

    	Well, I guess I won't be reading this conference much anymore!

    		Too bad, I really enjoyed it.

    Any data available on traffic on this conference? I may be able to
    give it a home. Also, how much disk space does it occupy?
