A few monthes ago I was xfering some old reel to reel tapes to
cassetts. One of them was a recording I make when I was in HS of
the Murry the K. program in NY. It was a top hits of 1956-1961.
The recording really stinks - - AM radio to mic to old tape recorder.
A few of the records brought back memories. The Shirelles "Will
You Love Me Tomorrow" made me want to get a CD of them.
I've been looking for 2 months, and last night at Lechmer (sic?)
in Worcester, there it was!! There was only one copy. Well - -
it's as good as I had hoped it would be, an "ADD" disk, their great
songs like "Dedicated To The One I Love" brought tears to my eyes.
The only fault I found is that the sound is too "bright". Since
we all heared the music on equipment that had a 4" speaker, it didn't
sound right to have so much treble.
