Got mine this afternoon (along with 'Let It Be'). I'm somewhat
disappointed in the noticeable hiss on 'Abbey Road' (Sgt. Peppers
sounds cleaner for some reason). 'Let It Be' sounds real clean though
and brings back a lot of memories too.

Check out the background talking/yelling at 4:30 of 'She's So Heavy'
on Abbey Road. I can't make out who is doing the talking.

932.2Who needs the noise...FACT01::LAWRENCEJim/Hartford A.C.T.,DTN 383-4523Fri Oct 30 1987 15:466
    I am glad that I read of the noise problem with AR. I was going
    to buy it as it was my favorite album of that era. But I don't
    want a copy that is as noisy as the LP...

932.3 What noise?!MPGS::PIERMARINIMon Nov 02 1987 06:3912

    	I bought Abbey Road the day it came out and thought it was
    	great! I hadn't heard it in a long time since my album was
    	worn out. As far as the noise goes, I havn't heard it until
    	I saw this note!! So when i got home I put it on and if you
    	listen real hard you can hear a little noise but WHO CARES.
    	The master is 18 years old. I'd buy it again!

    		I'll also be buying Let it Be this week.
