       I am looking for opinions, recommendations, experiences, etc.
    with portable AM/FM CD players. I have seen a couple and am about
    to purchase one. I just don't know which one!

	I have purchased the Magnavox unit from DAC. This is a small boom box that has CD, cassette plus AM-FM radio. The unit costs $200.00. I have had no trouble with the unit in the 3-months that I have owned it. The speakers sound as expected for this price. I listen almost exclusively with headphones. The sound quality with the head phones is similar to the quality of ,y home unit. I have also tapes CD's with the unit and find the result acceptable. There have been a few disks that have had several seconds of error that have played without error on my LUXMAN at home. The Magnavox unit is in my office. Drop by anytime for a demo.
