I just looked at a portable cd player that I thought I'd hook up to the aux input of my car stero. It turns out that the beast that I looked at has +/- 7.5 volts for a power supply which is very nasty. Well, I designed and build a circuit that takes car +12 and converts to +/- 7.5 volts for the cd player. Would anyone else be interested in the circuit? If so please mail me your interest to clt::orthober and If there is enough I'll post the details here. thanks ort1

900.1 | Technics runs +/- 6 v | TFH::KINDLER | Wed Nov 04 1987 21:48 | 4 | |
I face the same problem with +/- 6 v for Technics portable, but I think they now make an adaptor. How tricky (costly) was it to build custom? David |
