I was in Spag's the other day and I saw the guy who stocks pre-recorded tapes, so I asked him if Spag's was going to carry CDs. He said yes for around $10 and mostly classical and jazz, but he didn't know when they were going to start. I'll get back on this when and if I actually see them. One thing I do know, if they show up that will be their *REGULAR* price as opposed to a sale price. Jeff Barry A *REGULAR* Spag's Shopper... BTW. For those few of you in the New England region who've never heard of Spag's, it's a general merchandise store which carries name brand stuff at prices which put regular "discount" stores to shame. Bring cash. It's on Rt 9, Shrewsbury, MA, near the Worcester line.

Might very well be the VOX PRIMA label. These disk can usually
be had for $9.99 in most places anyway. Does anyone own one
of these disk? If so would you please comment on it's sound
quality. I have been interested in trying one but always saw
something else I would rather have on another label.

I have a $9.99 Mahler 4'th. Technically, it sounds fine (i.e. like
a CD).
Mahler takes some getting used to, though. I won't throw it away,
but it's not one of my favorites. (this is purely a subjective
judgement on the work - and I'm not a big Mahler fan anyway)
Sure, go ahead and get it. Just because the jewel box liners are
decorator <<<yuck>>> colors doesn't mean the sound is bad.
