Thanks for the input Edd. :)
As well as being the moderator, I'm first, the cluster manager
here. I can assure you that this system is quite stable, and not
prone to intermitten bug-checks and system failures. I cannot,
however, claim responsibility for the LAN here in UPO nor can I
say that the LAN is as Stable as it should be. There have been
problems with the Local Net, but not recently. I'd have to say,
off the top, that you're having network link problems if this
has happened within the last few days. The LAN in UPO has been
behaving for the last few weeks.
I'd like to know what errors you receive and when you get
them. If you could try and let me know, perhaps I can help in
tracking this down. If the problem is on JAWS, I'll fix it.
If the problems in the LAN in UPO, I'll complain to the site support
people, and They'll fix it. If the problems in the links between
LANs, Sorry, there's not much I'll be able to do.
Your Humble Moderator....

| It's worth noting that both JAWS and CERBUS are located
in Marlborough, MA, although they live in separate buildings
and separate DECnet areas. Since JAWS isn't having resource
problems, I'd hazard a guess that we're experiencing local
Marlborough network delays.
JAWS is also a little further away from major routers than
CERBUS was. (CERBUS shared the same ethernet as MONTY and
PYTHON, the major area 7 WAN routers, traffic to JAWS would
normally go through the area 11 WAN routers which are located
in MRO2 and MRO3).
Naturally, this should only affect delays, not outages...
