    I expect that for a while the only participants in this newly relocated
    conference will be the eagle-eyed noters that happened to catch the new
    "last update" date in their Notebook entry for the old conference. 

    When the conference on CERBUS was deleted and replaced (twice?) by a
    write-locked 1-note conference, participants we not notified because
    their "seen maps" all indicated that note 1.0 had been seen.

    This problem can be avoided the next time:

	Notes> SET CONFERENCE /NOWRITE

	Notes> WRITE  (new note pointing to new location)

	$ DELETE oldconference.NOTE.*	! After a week or so

	re .-1 In addition, it's necessary to write dummy notes in the moved conference to correspond to each new note written in the old conference. Notes have a unique sequence number (unrelated the the number we can see); the seen map indicates which ones have been read. Any note read in the old conference (such as a pointer to the new conference written after the copy) will cause notes to think that the note with the same sequence number in the new conference has been read. This problem can also be avoided by doing a set seen/before=copy-date. BTW, readers of the CDSWAP conference will find out about this one since it was announced there. /john
