According to an article in the new issue of MUSICIAN magazine, RCA
records has instructed all producers that work for its Nashville
(country music) division that all new LPs will contain *nine* tracks
only (current requirement is ten tracks).
The move is due to "rising production and royalty costs". First
album out under the new rules is the latest from the Judds. Playing
time, Lp, cassette or CD: 33 minutes.
C'mon, Let's hear some yee-hahs out there.
