I have noticed many releases on CD that never made it as a record release. One question remains. Is the soundtrack for the movie "HEAVY METAL" available on CD? If anyone has seen the CD please tell me where. Thanks. /Arun

Much of it is available on Blue Oyster Cult's "Fire of unknown origin" CD. About 1/2 of that album is stuff that was clearly intended for the movie, but never made it. You also will find that the album set does not include the piece being played at the sleazy bar in the "Tarna" clip. The piece is "Through Being Cool", by Devo. I appended it to my tape dub (made from my vinyl copy). I'm also looking for a CD of the Moroder soundtrack to "Cat People" |
