733.0. "Fisher Portables?" by NEBVAX::GOSSELIN () Wed Apr 22 1987 12:50
O.K. net wizards, help me out. I've got a friend (yeah, sure....)
who's in the market for a portable CD player. After mucho reading
and shopping around, he's zeroed in on the Fisher portable. Likes
the solid feel, price, etc.
Anyone know anything about these little beasts by Fisher? Info such
as price/performance, reliability, length of play per charge, and
any other nuggets of info would be appreciated, especially who makes
the guts for the Fisher portable. I'd hate to see him spend good
money on a portable that won't hold up.
Thanks,
Ken

| Fisher is made by Sanyo. I don't recall ever seeing a review of
a Fisher portable player (nor have I ever seen one in stores).
Unless the Fisher is considerably less than $250, I think your
friend might be happier with a Sony D-10.
