I went over to the Lechmere in Woburn to look at the
Sony CD player they had on sale this week, and the
salesman told me that the model was discontinued and
they didn't have any more. Instead, they were
substituting the
Pioneer PD-M6
On sale until Saturday night for $299.98!!
The regular price is $450.
(The unit plays 1 or up to 6 cd's)
I am not sure if you can get this deal at the other
Lechmere's.

The Sony Player I was refering to is the 203. I called the
Lechmere in Nashua and was told they were getting a few of the SONY's
in tomorrow. They didn't have any Pioneer PD-M6's in stock.
How does the Sony rate against the Pioneer? The Nashua salesman
said the Sony was a much better machine and that if he were going
to buy a 6 cd machine he would go with the new Pioneer or JVC.
