For those Alan Parsons Project fans, I picked up the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs version of "I Robot" this weekend at Lechmere's in the Framingham mall. It was $17.99 I think. There were around 6 left Saturday afternoon. Because of legal problems, supposedly there will not be any more CD offerings of any APP material, though this may not include the Mobile Fidelity disc. Does anyone know what the details of the legal problems are, and if there is any hope for the future? Mark

Whatever legal problems there were seemed to be resolved some time back. I've been hearing about these nebulous legal problems, and an imminent recall of all APP CD's for almost a year, and I still can find the CD's everywhere I look. The same thing happened with Pink Floyd and CBS. For a brief time, the CBS versions of WISH YOU WERE HERE, THE WALL and THE FINAL CUT were on the verge of becoming "collectors' items" similar to the Japanese ABBEY ROAD CD. But, a recall didn't occur before the problems were resolved. --- jerry | |||||
