579.1 | Down to the Moon | LDP::WEAVER | Laboratory Data Products | Mon Dec 29 1986 17:44 | 7 |
| I have "Down to the Moon" and like it very much, although it seems
as if it is just over 30 minutes (33?) and it leaves me wishing
for a more full length album. I recall someone telling me that
they like this album, but didn't care much for another one of his
albums (White Winds? not sure of title).

579.2 | "Down to the Moon"...go for it | UNIVAX::SCHREIBER | Noting in the rain... | Mon Dec 29 1986 18:14 | 9 |
| I agree with .1. "Down to the Moon" is the best of the 4 that I've
heard. (ok, I admit that I've got all 4...). One of the other
ones is also quite good. The title escapes me at the moment, but
there is a picture of him on the cover winking.
And yes, they are all 35 minutes or less. Seems like a real shame,
given the CD capacity and the relative newness of the albums.

579.3 | They're all good. | DSSDEV::DAVISON | | Mon Dec 29 1986 18:32 | 16 |
| I agree that I like "Down to the Moon", but I like them
all. They are:
Caverna Magica (...Under The Tree - In The Cave...)
White Winds
Down To The Moon
...and ...in the garden behind the wall under a rock
I'm joking about the last one, but they're all good and they're
all slightly different. "Down To The Moon" is a little more
contemporary. I think Caverna Magica is my favorite because
I like the sounds in a cave on the first track. Most people
that I've talked to liked White Winds best before "Down To The
Moon" came out this summer.

| The one Glenn was joking about is definitely better than Caverna Magica.
(Obviously my opinion.)
Its actual title is the title of the first song: Behind the Gardens...
Behind the Wall... Under the Tree.

579.5 | My vote for White Winds | DSSDEV::CHAN | | Tue Dec 30 1986 13:13 | 9 |
| I've been listening to Andreas since this summer and now own all
four of his discs also. If I needed money and had to sell my CD's
for cash but could keep one Andreas I'd keep White Winds although
I like Down to the Moon very much. I agree with Glenn that Down
to the Moon is more contemporary. Don't think you could go wrong
with either. If you like one, you'll like the other, if you dislike
one, you'll dislike the other.

579.6 | And yet another... | KRYPTN::JACOBS | | Tue Jan 06 1987 12:37 | 6 |
| There is a fifth disk out but I dont remember the name I will look
it up and enter it here. Of the 5 disks I like White Winds best
and Down to the Moon least since it sounds like a rip off of the
Star Wars theme. The fifth disk is an import of his early work.

I have searched in vain so far for a song heard nightly on the Channel

it isn't on "moon" or "winds" though winds comes close...
before I purchase a 3rd album...is the song available or just written
for 5's newscast?
thanks...
