| Well, I don't know your tastes, but here are 3 reccommended performers
1. Trevor Pinnock ('authentic Baroque')
2. Ton Koopman ( ditto )
3. Glenn Gould ('authentic Gould, definitely NOT Baroque -- uses
a piano')
Oh -- I don't really know if these folks have the complete WTC
available on CD -- but they are good!

| Don't forget Sviatislov Richter; piano. Russian and exciting and
even romantic performances. Had it on records and perhaps will
be avail on CD.

| The Glenn Gould recordings are available on a two CD set. You can also
find the Goldberg Variations (1 cd) and the French and English Suites
(2 cd's and 3 cd's per set). There is also a reissue of the first Gould
recording of the Goldberg Variations.
For completists, BIS records has issued a Gould recording from a
Scandinavian tour. Available at Tower in Boston.
Note that some of the Gould piano recordings include his off-key humming.
