Classical piano fans,
Visit to Electric Gramophone this weekend turned up the following news:
A reception is being given by Guenther Schuller at EG to celebrate the
release of pianist Frederick Moyer's first recording on CD (produced
on Schuller's label, GM Recording). The CD (GM2016CD) is as yet un-
titled, but is a collection of relatively modern works (Walker, Ravel,
Liszt/Busoni, others) and is very very nice (I gave it a listen on
Saturday). The reception will be 14 October at EG in Mill Village,
Sudbury, from 7 to 9:30 PM. All are welcome to come, have a refreshment
with the artist and his patron.

it handy).
