The last time I visited Lechmere (Maul of N.H.) during a 20% off sale,
I had a hard time leaving with only (!) $120 of new discs. I left a
number of discs in the bins to spare my bank account.
Consequently, it was with some fear that I visited the new Lechmere
in Nashua, especially with the advance warning about the "large
selection". Well, my fear was unfounded. After searching thru
their entire selection, I left with only 7 new discs.
The rock and classical selections seemed extensive, but of little
personal interest. Since my taste runs mostly to jazz, I was seriously
disappointed.

I was there yesterday and came away with the impression that the
selection was large because they had ten copies of most discs. On
the other hand, there were no Archiv labels that I could find.
What I was looking for was Erroll Garner; for classical I'd go to
Electric Gramophone. Looked under "G" in all sections, then went
back to Jazz and looked thru all G*, then E*, then what the hell,
split the difference and look thru "F". Yup, one copy in the middle
of a pile of Ella Fitzgerald. Didn't see any Thelonius Monk either,
though I didn't search as thoroughly.
