re .0: You did mean Time Out and not Take Five, didn't you?

Whoa, hold it! Well, how about that - I just looked at the CD,
which I know to be called Time Out, and the spine shows the
title Take Five! Somebody blew it... Anyway, here's my list of
	musically and sonically pleasing CD's:

Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
	Bob Dylan - Biograph
	Donald Fagen - The Nightfly
	Peter Gabriel - Security
Joe Jackson - Body and Soul
	Joe Jackson - Big World
	King Crimson - Discipline
Modern Jazz Quartet - Live at the Lighthouse
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (Harvest)
	Roxy Music - Avalon
Stravinsky - The Firebird (Seiji Ozawa & the BSO, EMI)
Stravinsky - Le Sacre du Printemps (Charles Dutoit & the
		Montreal Symphony, London)
	Talking Heads - Little Creatures
	Suzanne Vega
	Weather Report - Heavy Weather
	The Who - Quadrophenia

Another vote for TIME OUT. I'd say that overall, this is my
favorite from my collection. Wendy Carlos' DIGITAL MOONSCAPES
is probably the best produced one I have, in my opinion, but
while I like the music, it isn't among my favorites.

I'd have to review my collection for other favorites. I have
    more than I can remember.

After due consideration, I think the other top two in my collection
are DARK SIDE OF THE MOON (Japanese EMI version) and Jimi Hendrix's
    KISS THE SKY.

Abbey Road	(Japenese import, eat your hearts out, folks)

In the Court of the Crimson King ( may hiss a little, but

Two mistakes in the base note:

Yes, Dave Brubeck's CD is called Time Out

and the Bach CD (three CD set) is the Christmas Oratorio
    						(Weihnachtsoratorium)

    Only 3?!?! Jeez. Uh....How about:

Steely Dan's "Royal Scam" (Really a toss up between it and "Katy
                                Lied")
Shadowfax's "Shadowdance" (Really a toss up between it and "The
                                Dreams of Children")

The Police's "Zenyatta Mondatta" (Really a toss up between it and
                                       "Ghost in the Machine")

Close runners up include: "The Nightfly" by Donald Fagen, Any Steely
Dan, "Tunnel" by Flim and the BB's, "Aerial Boundaries" by Michael
Hedges, either of The Nylon's CD's, and "Synchronicity" by the
    Police.

    Enough. Enough already.
