I can finally access this file!!! (and I've even been on VAXNOTES for awhile) I bought Tears For Fears' "Songs From the Big Chair" . When I played it I discovered that it wasn't "Songs From the Big Chair". It wasn't even Tears For Fears! It was Brain Adams' latest album. I rechecked the label on the disk to make sure I hadn't bought the wrong one, but according to the label and the sleeve it was the one I wanted. Maybe I should check it out on another player to see if its a fault with my player and not the disk? :^)

I've had this defect on records. Chock it up along with scratches and off center holes that LP and CD have in common. At least I've never seen pinholes in LPs yet!!!! | |||||

RE: -.1 > At least I've never seen pinholes in LPs yet!!!! Ah, then you've been buying your cut-outs at the wrong store! I bought a cut-out of Yoko Ono first album ("Plastic Ono Band") that had a pinhole. Fortunately, it was at the end of the record so didn't disturb the music(?). Mark |
