no, they are made by zenith, or was that rca? ;-) couldn't resist that open end... actually I don't know if they make the entire thing themselves. I do know that they use a lot of things that are very different than other players, like their own d/a type converters, and their own transport design... | |||||

Denon is a subsidiary of Hitachi; whether you say that the Hitachi player is made by Denon, or that the Denon player is made by Hitachi is close to hairsplitting; I would assume that the corporation has one plant where all players are made, whether it officially runs as a Denon or Hitachi plant should be irrelevant. | |||||

WRONG !! Denon is a subsidiary of NEC same as JVC. The overwhelming percentage of audio equipment in recording studios, etc. in Japan is Denon. |
