242.0. "Sony CDP-7F CD player" by ECAD::HACK () Wed Jan 01 1986 22:24

Has anyone had any experience with the Sony CDP-7F? I've heard that
it is a pretty good portable player (portable meaning small, not that you
can play it while carrying it around). I have been unable to locate one
anywhere...

I've never seen it in the stores. I wonder why anyone would buy it
rather than a D-7.

P.S. I've seen the D7 (didn't notice if it had the "f" attached) at
You-Do-It Electronics in Needham Ma right after Xmas for $299.

Hi from Australia,
Peter did you find out about the CDP-7F....I have a friend who is
leaving for the States in about 3 days so I need some real
quick information about this unit. Let me make sure
that we are talking about the same unit..it goes with the FH7-MKIII
...that is it has the same frontal dimensions of the FH7 and is
designed to stack on top of one.

What I need to know is how hard it is to get one and what is the
	price duty free.

	Actually I wouldn't mind finding out how much a D-70 (I think
you lot call then D-7) is?

Thanks in a big hurry Barry

P.s. It will need to have a selectable voltage supply,
	     that means 110, 240, 220
