| The CD of Abbey Road was pulled off the market because of copyright
and licensing issues. Digital Audio has had a continuing stream of
letters, etc. asking for CD versions of the entire Beatles collection.
Prayers and letters may help.

| I think I bought the last copy of "Abbey Road" sold in North America. You
might be able to buy a copy used from someone, but you'll probably have
to pay an exorbitant amount of money. Even from the stores, it was selling
for $25 to $30, and since it's been discontinued, the value has probably
gone up.

| I believe that Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs has the US rights for Beatles
CDs. The cynical rumor is that they're waiting until their sets of the
half-speed masters are sold out before issuing CD's.

| City Hall music HAD one! I hesitated about buying it because it was $20!
I did not know that that was the last one around and that there will be
no more until a bunch of very-highly-paid lawyers get tired of arguing.
By the time I found that out it was GONE!

| I suspect the scenario will be that Capitol will release a couple of albums,
and a the greatest hits sets. Then, when sales level off, they will release
the remaining albums. Finally, when sales level off from those, they will
permit MFSL to release the digitally remastered versions. That will ensure
that everyone pays for all of them.
