178.0. "Keep note subjects on track!" by PYRITE::WEAVER () Tue Sep 10 1985 13:30

Pardon my editing, but I couldn't send mail to the author of the following
reply. I would like to ask that people try to keep notes on track as to
the subject in the base note. I intentially provided this as an example,
because the base note was to re-direct a sidelining discussion from another
note, and this as the first reply was already changing the subject! My
apologies to the author for making an example of this reply, but I couldn't
sit still on this. This reply has been removed from note 174.

re: .0 Welcome input. The music is what its all about.

Might I suggest that a few base notes be started for CD
player and CD record prices, bargains etc. Then people will be
able to skip over more easily. I appreciate that people need
that type of information; however at the moment too many notes
deal with the same or similar topics.

My record of the month: Mozart - The Magic Flute.

Thank you for your suggestions - for those of us who are new to the file,
having the replys reflect the title keeps us looking at the info we want.
When looking through the directory for say reviews, the chances are slim that
I would have looked under "Concert Hall vs. CD". Not that I am picking on
Dermot.

Thanks for the wealth of information in this file.
