| I called Royal Jewelers yesterday and they quoted me a price of
$475 for the CDP-302. Then I called Lechmere and they still had
one of the damaged-box type Sonys left. They don't have it any-
more: I do! Thanks for the info DRAGON::ROSENBERG!

Kevin (of Hi-Fi Listening Shop in Marlboro) has quoted me $400
for Sony CDP 302s. This does not come in a damaged box or with
any deformation.

I called them (Hi-Fi Listening Shop in Marlboro). They are selling
the CDP-102 for $400, not the CDP-302. The correct price for the
CDP-302 is $500, which is the average non-discounted price.
You'd be better off buying at $500 from Lechmere's in Manchester
and saving the sales tax.
