I currently own a Technics SLP8 disk player and I would like to upgrade to a player with digital filters, but I can't find one with a pitch control like the Technics. I have found the pitch control useful for taping when the disk is a little longer than the tape. Does anyone know of a player with this feature?? --Dale

This isn't really an answer, maybe an alterm (oops) alternative... I have found TDK C-90 cassettes to be a little over 48 minutes on a side, wheras some cassettes cut off right at 45.. I have also found that those really_neat_looking_TEAC_cassettes_that_look_like_ they_have_little_reel_to_reel_hubs_inside_them really confuse my tapedecks' time calculations, giving really strange numbers, but they are shorter then the TDKs. Maybe try changing your tapes.... Willie |
