4.0. "Topic Direction" by FDCV02::GRIFFIN () Fri Dec 16 1983 21:02

I'm not sure just which side of CD's we are talking about - if
any.

Did you intend this to be discussions around the use of CD's for
computer hardware/software applications (e.g., software distribution,
ultradense archiving, etc.) or are we delving into the more esoteric
"which sounds better" type of analysis?

I've been asked to examine the use of CD's within my environment, so the
existance of this note file could be rather timely.

In terms of CD's as Digital products, I understand that the people
involved are a bit sensitive about our involvement. I assume we should
be as cautious as possible in this area...

{or I'm I worrying too much}

I have set up GOLD::SYS$NOTES:CDPERIPH.NOT as a forum for discussion the
implications of CD's interfaced to computers. My original intent was to
use this file for both, after thinking about it it makes more sense to
have two separate NOTES files. So this NOTES files is now intended for
CD audio only (note that I changed the title).
