282.0. "Building speed." by UTRTSC::CASPEL (Peter van Caspel - MCS/SSO) Fri May 23 1997 09:44
Hi,
One of my customers is stating that the time it takes to build an
ACMSxp application depends on the order of building.
- When defining a task server, the building of the processing server
is extremely long (8 minutes).
- When no task server is defined, then the building of the processing
server takes a normal time frame (1 minute).
- When first defining a processing server, the building of the task
server take a normal time frame (1 minute).
Configuration:
Alphaserver 2100 4/200 640MByte
Digital UNIX V3.2G
OSF/DCE V1.3B
ACMSXP V2.0
Checking the documentation, I could not find that there should be a
special order in building the application.
Does anybody has any idea about this phenomenon.
Thanks in advance,
Peter.
