Does anyone heard or seen the game Final Fantasy 7? Final Fantasy 7 is the most expensive video game ever made.

Not sure what you mean by most expensive? Is it because the game will come on 3 cd's. Well there a a few others that were 3 cd's long, D, Wing Commander 3, to name a couple. I would expect a 69.99 US figure, that seems to be the top end for premium title. Also consider it really only cost on the order of 5-10 dollars to burn in a cd, I can't see SOny jacking up the price. In some more FF7 news, there seems to be a rift forming over whether or not Sony will edit (censore) certain scenes from FF7 for the english translation. They include a brothel, public urination, and some element regarding crossdressing. Most responses over the internet from gamers feel that any censorship would be a violation of the 1st ammendement. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I personally don't see a problem with any of the 3 aforementioned scenes, clearly there was no mention of any nudity associated with said scenes. Anyone else have any thought on this? Shark

They may want to edit it because God knows when it comes out in the US, somebody is gonna bitch about it.....hopefully they won't. Maybe they'll just slap a "rating" on it so 6 year-olds won't be getting in for their birthday. Who knows? CF

This game is so significant in the 'console wars' that shares in Nintendo dipped drastically when it was announced that unlike the first 6 Final Fantasy's this one would not be on Nintendo but on PlayStation. What do I care, I hate RPGs/Point and Click adventure games anyway. Richard

Final Fantasy 7 is already the most successful unit-shifter in video game history, just from its Japan release in January, according to the Sony magazine. +Mark+ |
