      Is there any truth that Sony will release  an add-on for the
    Playstation to bring it into line with the N64's 64-bit technology?

    Heard from EGM that sony is bring out a Playstation 1.5 (a playstation
    with quad-speed CD-ROM and an addition of 2M RAM). It is coming out in
    Japan in June. Also the expansion cart with available at the same time.
    This cart had contained extra RAM for your PS. There is a rumor that
    Tekken 3 will need either the new PS (codename "TYPE C") or the
    expansion to be able to run.
    
    64-bit Playstation - I think the Playstation 2, will not be available
    until 1999. But who cares, bringing out new hardware too frequently
    will not benefit gamers. I prefer hardware upgrades rather than
    complete new console.
