| Well all the reviews I have seen have been hugely disappointed with the
game, although it was no.1 best seller over Christmas!

| I think this game is great, better than Actua anyway.
Its a little slower than Actua at carrying out a specified move but
there are so many different elements to the game now.
There are loads of different ways of scoring on this game; tap
in's, long shots, crosses and volleys, just alot more than Actua which
makes the game alot more tactical.
No more just steaming down the middle or diving down the wing and
blasting in a long shot at an angle to the goal. Now it does matter
which formation you use and even where your men are positioned on the
pitch.
We spent most of last weekend playing 4 player mode and it was
great, making runs off each other or crossing into the box where your
team mate is waiting to volley home the winner.
The main thing about this game is that on first play it doesn't
seem as accesable as Actua but when you get into it there doesnt seem
like there is a certain inevitability about each game you play.
Also, the keepers dont go walk about half as much as before and
Bolton Wanderes are in the Premiership, Dream, Dream, Dream.

| Saying that FIFA 97 is better than Actua is only saying that FIFA is
not the worst footy game available.
Compare it to something good, please

| FIFA 96 for a start :-)
Olympic Soccer should be a good measure.
Or perhaps you could compare it to all the footy games you've experienced
so that people who like (or hate) these other games can get a better
picture.

| Sorry Ian, I've only played Actua and can only compare it to that
game. I got all excited about this game and just thought I'd try and
make a note about it. I'd better make sure I get some more experience
in order to make my notes relevant and interesting for everyone,
