re .-1 Good thing! Because I looked over the weekend and our copy has already been trashed. The short story, which I guess was to be a prologue to the novel, but which was chopped by the editors to shorten the book (always King's biggest problem - verbosity), was quite interesting. I think that in a few pages he provided some useful insights that, at the time I read the novel, would have added interesting perspective. IMHO I think the editors did us a disservice by chopping it. dave | |||||
