Hello, I have a customer that is interested in DEC ACB V2.2 for both VAX and
AXP.
Locally, DEC Direct does not have pricing for DEC ACB Server AXP:
Q2-36XA*-** AXP Software license
Q2-36XAA-H* Media and documentation
QS-GFYA9-A9 Software Orientation & Installation Services
QS-36XA9-A9 Software Orientation & Installation Services
DEC Direct Pricing also does not have the DEC ACB Client:
Q2-GFWA*-** DOS/Windows license
Q2-GFWAA-HB DOS/Windows media and documentation
i. Are these products still supported by DIGITAL and if so how can I place an
order
against these part numbers in Australia?
ii. What is the difference between the two Software Orientation and
Installation and
Services? I doubt locally that NSIS are able to provide this as I have spoken
to a
few NSIS people and they are not familiar with the product.
iii. Has the Client software been qualified for Windows95 or NT?
iv. My reading of the SPD is that the user/client responds to a random
challenge to
initiate a session. Does DEC ACB provide this functionality and how does a
valid
user calculate the response to the random challenge?
v. Please confirm that both the Racal Watchword and Security Dynamics token
cards are purely
to provide third party solutions to generate the challenge/response and are
indeed optional
components.
Thanks,
Richard
