    I hope that this is the right conference (i haven't seen a conference
    for RouteAbout products).
    
    I need the characteristics of a RouteAbout Access EW:
    		What CPU is used ?
    		What is the clock speed ?
    		Amount of RAM ?
    		Amount of Flash RAM ?
    
    Were are in compettition with CISCO, does anybody has the same numbers
    for CISCO 2000, 2501 & 2511 ?

	This is the WANrouter conference, the RoutAbout products (+ others) are covered in the above conference. However I can answer some of your questions: � I need the characteristics of a RouteAbout Access EW: � What CPU is used ? Motorola 68360 � What is the clock speed ? Who cares?. � Amount of RAM ? 4mb � Amount of Flash RAM ? 4mb � � Were are in compettition with CISCO, does anybody has the same numbers � for CISCO 2000, 2501 & 2511 ? No idea. Why do you want this information?. It is completely meaningless for something as specialised as a router. Probably what matters most is "what routing protocols does it support, what datalink protocols does it support, how fast can it forward/bridge packets, how is it managed", etc, etc. Mark

	I know that it seems stupid, but this is the requirements to answer an RFP from the Moroccan Post & Telecommunication Office. We have already provide them the informations about Software, Protocols, Performances and other functionnality. They asked us for more informations about CPU and Clock speed, they want to compare detailed characteristics of CISCO Products and RouteAbout. I know that is not to good way to compare products, but we have to deal with this "bureaucracy" . Any Idea or guess about the CPU clock ? Thank you for your help Mark. Regards.
