So which day is it going to pour with rain? Last year was great on Saturday,
and I understand it was a bit miserable on the sunday.

Er, it was bangin' (at least I think that's the expression).
Bands that I can remember seeing:
Skunk Anansie - loud and thrashy, but if they didn't have that singer they'd be
just another loud and thrashy band
Ash - great fun; made me feel very old
Therapy? - this was quite a revelation. I had them down as three - chord
know-nothings, but they're great
Echobelly - well, she was tasty anyway
Cast - never heard of them before, but they had a few more interesting
chords than your average Liverpool (?, guess, from accents)
beat band
The Prodigy - great, got trampled to death and loved it
I'm sure I saw more bands, but I can't remember much. The groove tent was
cool too.
The "atmosphere" report: usual mountains of empty paper cups and discarded
noodles. Weather very sunny so the entire place turned into a dustbowl
in minutes.
Er, that's it.

1302.7 | For an unbiased opinion.... | CHEFS::STRATFORDS | Disconnect brain from mouth | Tue Aug 08 1995 10:49 | 5 |
| Cast remind me of Northside (a below average band from the Madchester
days). In fact, they would appear to be Northside in disguise. In other
words, crap. Just MHO.

1302.8 | more on Cast | YUPPY::PANES | We say yes to all day Sunday opening | Tue Aug 08 1995 11:01 | 4 |
| Cast was formed by the leading light from the LAs. I rather like
the single.

| I thought Northside had one good song, the second single. I think it
was called '<mumble> star'. Possibly.
The Cast single is fun n jangly tho.

mention of Cast in this forum.
