1280.0. "Help with 60's/70's tracks." by KERNEL::HOGGAND () Thu Feb 23 1995 12:14

    Hi,

Perhaps we should set aside a special not for requests like this,
    but...

Can anyone help identify the following, both 60's/70's songs. One
starts with something like "Do you like good music..." I believe and
the other is either called or has "Hey baby, be my girl" in the lyrics.

    Any help gratefully appreciated...

    Dave

Perhaps we could call it "Name that Tune" and number it 102?!

Arthur Conley had a UK hit with "Sweet Soul Music" in '67 on the
    Stax label.

    Alternatively...

"Do you like Soul Music...well do the Trouser Press baby..." by the
Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band - tho probably not the record in question here.

    re .3

"Prefabriacted coffee coal bunker..". Now, they don't make songs with
    lyrics like that anymore.

    I don't think they did then - wasn't it:

"Prefabricated *concrete* coal bunker" ? Having had some experience of
assembling these beasts, I can definitely say I prefer the Trouser
    Press.

Yeah, I suppose it could be.. it makes a little more sense, but there
again, we are talking about the Bonzos...
