| Well, the new Leftfield album "Leftism" is out next week (30th JAN)
after many abortive attempts at releasing it.

From what I've heard on the radio (evening session and Peel) it's
pretty good. Also enjoyed the title music they did for "Shallow Grave"

| FWIW - the album "Leftism" is reviewed in this weeks NME and gets a
massive 9. Must be good then !

| Well, despite the music press raving about the album, it's actually
pretty good. Sort of a trance/dance type beat with markedly few vocals
(other than on the recent(?) hit OPEN UP).
IMO Rates better than the Astralasia "Politics of Ecstacy".
Dave (cynical about anyth. the music press likes).

have to place a bulk order with BeeBees soon!

| Got hold of this yesterday, I like it lots, but I have a nagging feeling
that it really is Underworld meets Recoil meets Transglobal Underground.
Is that Tony Halliday I can hear on one of the track? Just like on Recoil's
last album?
Guy
p.s. Open Up has wicked bass, just the thing to drive your neighbours mental.

| Yep, I believe it's Toni Halliday.

| Almost certainly the worng note, this, but is it Leftfield that also
feature sinead O Connor on a song or two? Or could it conceivably be
Massive? I bought the TransGlobal Underground album in the mistaken
impression it was that, and it's not. Pointers appreciated...

| Well, I think I can honestly say that (IMO the very talented) Miss
O'Conner is not featured on this Leftfield album.
If I remember, I can check the Massive album tonight.

| I think Sinead does vocals on a couple of tracks for Bomb the Bass. I
don't think the album is out yet, but I heard one (v good) track on the
radio, and she was mentioned in the NME interview with Tim Simmythingy
the other week.

| It was Bomb The Bass, I'm sure of it. My mate had a pre-release vinyl
copy of the record in question, but being unable to move my eyes or
hands, mouth or eyes at the time of listening I never did find out what
it was. I know we heard, amongst other things, Portishead, Massive, TGU
and Bomb the Bass.
Thanks

| Love the single that came out a few months back by BTB - Bug summit or
uther - exellent song - and video.
There's a bit in the video where you can only see his shadow and when
he moves slowly round his shadow is exactly like the Alien.
