Tell me all you know about Blurt. I heard a report on them on the radio
on Saturday morning and liked what I heard.

All I know is they have a great tune called something like "Walk the Dog" and have horns. /Ed

I think someone called Ted Milton was involved. He used to be a poet as
well, but, to quote the man himself, "not *that* Milton'. His one great
moment was a protest poem against the use of sheep in high-pressure
hose-pipe crowd control technique experiments at Porton Down. It was
called "Bang Splash Baa!" if memory serves correctly, and I quote it
verbatim here;
"Bang
Splash
Baa!"
Then again, I could have the wrong bloke entirely.
Enlightenlingly yours,
Bob

My mistake. That should have read Blur. I promise not to do it again.

Borrowed Blur's LP "Parklife" last night. Great record. "This is a low"
is brilliant. Might even think about buying it myself.

Parklife has been short listed for the Mercury Music Award, quite
rightly IMO.
It's a great album with no two songs sounding alike, although most of
the songs sound like something you heard long ago but can't quite
remember where.
