I believe they had several hit records thirty years or so ago. My parents
had some records by them. So there may well be something available.

I was going say I thought they went back before even my time! Weren't
some of the numbers on The Notting Hillbillies album Temperance 7
oldies? Just a vague recollection of some such message I heard./

| I saw the Temperance Seven last in about 1975. I know that they had
piles of records out in the sixties/early seventies and were at one
time pretty big. You'd be able to pick up the records, I would guess,
at a secondhand jazz records place -- there are one or two in London.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I saw the Temperance Seven in the summer of 1991 so I'm
amazed they are still going if they have been around for 30 years. I'll have to
get off my behind and visit some music shops.
Cheers,
Steven

| Have a look in Virgin Megastores. They've got a load of cheap CD's
which could include the likes of the Temperance Seven.
