no...but i've just read that the 'long-awaited' greatest hits
package is set for a release date of 13th sept...probably a
3 record deal with 4 new songs, and the tour will be based on
a greatest hits formula, many of the songs never to be played again
supposedly...

| Let's not refer to him as "The artist formerly known as Prince", for god's sake.
If he really wanted to lose the name "Prince", why doesn't he mind being known
as TAFKAP? The bloke's a weirdo, and should be treated accordingly....
"The artist currently known as p***k", as VOX said.
JMO, of course.

| So what's the new stuff like? The last time I saw him, everything degenerated
into a rap tirade, and I thought the point about Prince was that he didn't do
what everyone else did. So, if the latest is an improvement on post-Diamonds
and Pearls, I'll have to invest.

| The Simpsons had a classic gag on Sunday.
Their dogs had had 25 puppies and at one point it was showing all the bowls for
the new arrivals:
Fido, Rex, FidoII, Rex II etc... Prince, The puppy formally known as Prince.

re.16
His new stuff is more rap orientated but not completely, with a few
numbers which were likened to the earlier stuff like 'I'll count
the days' and this 'excellent song that he played at the S.E.C.C
i refer to as 'Gold' as i dont know the proper name for it, but at
the gig it was the climatic part of the show and probably the most
appprieciated song with a large explosion and gold glitter falling on the
audience from up above.'A real taste of the early days and what
he does best'
In saying that i quite like the rap he does so i can live with the
change. If you want to the hear his old stuff then put on a CD and
as for the new stuff----- GO WITH THE FLOW MAN !
