| > Anyone heard the new Television album yet ?
Yes. Very disappointing -- not too surprisingly, it sounded like
Verlaine's recent solo work, everything coyed down to a mumble. But
live, they still kick it. I'm hoping for a spate of bootlegs.

| I'm afraid I disagree with Ray - I like a lot of the new lp. There are
one or two weaker tracks there, and overall it doesn't come up to the
mighty Marquee Moon lp (but then, IMHO, nothing could), but most of it
is worth listening to.
I'll agree that live they are still doing it, though.

| Paul Williams also disagrees with me.
Actually, I hope as many people as possible disagree with me, so that
the band all makes Big Pounds and the record companies bring out 2 new
albums every year.
