| the song is heart attack and Vine. this is a Tom Waites song (
title track on Heart attack and vine album!) but this version is by
Screaming Jay Hawkings.
As with the recent Rod Stweart versions, it will probally be a hit but
Tom's versions remain infinatly better.

isn't tom suing someone because they didn't ask him if they could

| Yep - thats the one. They got the rights to the song, but toms
throwing a grumpy on artistic grounds.
Why isn't the Heart Attack and Vine album availble on CD in this
country? Mutter mutter...

| Are you sure? Tom sued Frito-Lay for $2.5 million a while back. I
doubt someone would make that mistake again. If he gave permission to
Screaming Jay to record the song and whoever owns the publishing rights
gave Levies permission then he hasn't a leg to stand on.
Of course he could be sueing them over the video as it is a blatent rip
off of the In the Neighbourhood video.

| Seen an ad for it on t.v tonight, it's called "The Originals'"
Loadsa the old catchy tunes from when Nick Kamen de-jeaned in
the launderette up to present day burial of the well worn. a
definate purchase this "weekend".
