| OK - I'll start the ball rolling - the latest Utah Saints one -
there's at least two samples - I can identify Human League's
"Love Action" ("I believe in you, I believe in me, you know I
believe in love") but what is the other - "ooh, ooh, ooh" bit -
sounds like Boystown Gang or Dan Hartman - something in the late
70's ..
It's beginning to annoy me - clues ??

Jamaican [Englishman] In New York - it's excellent.

sample was quite short.

What about all those film soundtrack samples on So Tough by St.
Etienne ? I don't know where any of them come from.
Big Audio Dynamite used to go in for soundtrack samples in a big way.
There have been several occasions where I've been watching a film, and
heard a line that I knew from one of their tracks.

Dave Stewart/Barbara Gaskin's "Levi Stubb's Tears" samples the Four
Tops' "Bernadette" and "Reach Out" way down in the mix just prior to
Gaskin's actual use of the 'Reach Out' lyrics on the tag.

| Pink Floyds Crazy Diamond was used in a song called Natural Thing by
Innocence which was a slow but quite good dance/ambient track.

| I recently purchased the first Enigma album (on CD)
The entire 5th track "The Voice & The Snake" is basically a copy of
"Seven Bowls" from the 1970 album "666" by Aphrodite's Child (Vertigo).
There is also a sample from "The Seventh Seal" at the break between
part b and c of the 7th track "Back to the Rivers of Belief".
There are no credits on the liner.
